Contest Rules & Guidelines
Who Can Participate?
This contest is open to neurodivergent children and teens. A parent or legal guardian must submit the entry on their behalf if under 18.
Original Artwork Only
All submissions must be 100% original and created by the child. Artwork can be hand-drawn or digital, but it must be the child’s own work (no tracing, copying, or AI-generated images).
Theme
There are no specific themes in mind for this contest, however, we would suggest themes of happiness, kindness, individuality, or “my world,” but creativity is strongly encouraged. Draw what you love!
Submission Format
- Clear photo or scan of the artwork
- Digital files accepted (JPG or PNG preferred)
- Include the child’s first name, age, and a short description (optional but encouraged)
Parental Consent
By submitting, a parent/guardian grants Team Shawnie permission to share the artwork on social media and use it for promotional purposes, with credit to the child (first name only unless otherwise approved).
Submission Deadline
All entries must be received before midnight of April 30th, 2026.
Selection Process
Finalists may be selected by Team Shawnie and/or through community voting. One winning design will be chosen.
Winner Recognition
The winning artwork will be featured as an official Team Shawnie t-shirt design, available in our online store. The winner will also receive special recognition on all of our social media and a gift from Team Shawnie.
Use Of Artwork
The winning design may be slightly adjusted (digitized, cleaned up, or formatted) for printing while preserving the original artwork’s spirit.
Respect & Positivity
All submissions must be appropriate and respectful. Any artwork containing offensive or inappropriate content will not be considered.
