I might need more fingers<\/strong><\/p>
If I could count on my fingers the strongest people I know<\/strong><\/p>
I\u2019d only need one<\/strong><\/p>
Him<\/strong><\/p>
He is stronger than the Olympic athlete you see performing on television<\/strong><\/p>
Stronger than any person who can break through cement with just their hands<\/strong><\/p>
Yes<\/strong><\/p>
He is a strong as steel<\/strong><\/p>
But yet, is as gentle and loving as a puppy<\/strong><\/p>
And he is as comical as you would imagine any stand-up comedian<\/strong><\/p>
Not only so<\/strong><\/p>
He is my brother<\/strong><\/p>
I know, my opinion may be biased<\/strong><\/p>
But at the same time, looking through his life<\/strong><\/p>
It\u2019s true<\/strong><\/p>
I couldn\u2019t imagine the strength I would need to be him<\/strong><\/p>
Growing up in such a judgemental world<\/strong><\/p>
He doesn\u2019t realize how much strength he has<\/strong><\/p>
Because people just can\u2019t understand<\/strong><\/p>
That autism is only a word<\/strong><\/p>
A word that could never define him<\/strong><\/p>
His corky personality isn\u2019t because of it<\/strong><\/p>
And I know he lives his best life<\/strong><\/p>
But all I can wish is for people to stop<\/strong><\/p>
They make jokes about the word and feel no empathy at all<\/strong><\/p>
It\u2019s cruel<\/strong><\/p>
Yes, autism is only a word<\/strong><\/p>
But that doesn\u2019t take away any meaning<\/strong><\/p>
And it doesn\u2019t make it okay to shed any negativity on the word<\/strong><\/p>
Because my brother is amazing <\/strong><\/p>
Of course, he annoys me as any sibling would<\/strong><\/p>
But he embraces love and kindness to everyone<\/strong><\/p>
So, my only wish would be<\/strong><\/p>
For people to see him as the normal kid he is<\/strong><\/p>
