Who We are...
The Team Shawnie Advocacy Group is a non-profit organization run by families with special needs children. We are parents, educators, organizers, and volunteers who share a common goal, the safety of our children at the hands of others.
Our Mission
“To serve as an overwatch advocate agency that protects incapacitated children & adolescents from individuals that harm, exploit, and endanger their overall well-being through negligence, while also denying their basic human rights for appropriate education and quality of life.”
What We Do
We advocate for change in order to close system loopholes that allow for negligence and abuse. We are also actively involved with legislators who are fighting for disability rights to ensure that the voices of the special needs community are heard in the policy debates that take place at our statehouses.
Our Methodology
Our Mission Statement is the driving force of becoming one of the most effective, disruptors in executing advocating services. The methodology used is D.A.I.R. (Discussion, Action, Implementation, Results). We are a result-driven agency with the expectation of “winning”, providing families with superior advocating equity representation in various meetings with school districts and other agencies.
The ongoing of families that continue to reach out to us, reinstates the need for our services. As stated, TSAG is a disruptor in the advocating arena. There is no other agency that executes the way TSAG executes. We do this with extreme passion and empathy for the families we work for.
